Isn't everything going wireless?

While wireless technology has become increasingly popular in recent years, it is not always the best solution for every application. There are still some situations where running wires is the better choice. For example, if you are building a new home or renovating an existing one, running wires for essential systems such as electrical, HVAC, and networking is still recommended. Hardwired systems are generally more reliable and can provide faster and more consistent performance than wireless systems. Additionally, there are some systems, such as home theater systems and whole-house audio systems, that typically require wires for the best performance. Running wires for these systems can ensure that you have the highest quality audio and video experience with minimal interference or signal degradation. That being said, there are still many applications where wireless technology can be an excellent choice, such as for smart home automation, security systems, and even some lighting systems. Wireless technology is typically more flexible and easier to install than wired systems, and it can be more cost-effective in some situations. Ultimately, the decision to run wires or go wireless will depend on your specific needs and the systems you want to install. In some cases, a combination of wired and wireless systems may be the best solution. It's always a good idea to consult with a professional integrator or contractor to determine the best approach for your home.
